About the Company: Our client, founded in the 1980s, is a well-established provider of electrical and data cabling construction services. With decades of industry experience, they support a wide range of commercial and infrastructure projects. The team is collaborative, hands-on, and looking to add a strong accounting professional to support continued growth. Position Overview: The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Controller and play a key role in day-to-day accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-based environment and has strong experience with full-cycle accounting, particularly within construction or similar industries.
salary: $38 - $42 per hour

work hours: 7 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Support accounting for foreign entities and related transactions
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Collaborate with internal teams on project-related financial tracking
Qualifications: - 3+ years of accounting experience (construction industry experience a plus)
- strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and close processes
- Experience with intercompany transactions and multi-entity environments
- Exposure to foreign entity accounting is highly preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise required
- strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work onsite and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment
