Set-up Technician (injection molding) - CR22025 - Anaheim, CA

Location: Near Anaheim, CA

Pay: $18 - 28 per hour + Benefits

Type: Full-time & Permanent Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday / 1st and 3rd shifts available.

We are in need of experienced Setup Technicians to ensure smooth operations of this molding company near Anaheim, CA. The set-up tech will be responsible for preparing and cleaning injection molds, as well as setting up machines by installing the necessary tools and equipment for production. They ensure efficient machine operation, troubleshoot setup issues, and maintain product quality throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Set up and change molds as required for production
• Operate a forklift and overhead crane to move molds to machines
• Clean, maintain, and lubricate injection molds
• Set up injection molding machines according to production specifications
• Move and store molds in designated areas
• Assemble special tools and fixtures
• Troubleshoot mold set-up issues during production
• Complete production documentation
• Meet performance goals, comply with company policies, and maintain regular attendance

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proficiency in English (bilingual preferred)
• Minimum 1 2 years of mold set-up and/or change experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to distinguish between acceptable and unacceptable parts (dimensional and visual)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further training preferred
• Ability to read and interpret machine manuals and schematics
• Familiarity with machinery and components
• Forklift and overhead crane operation experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to multitask efficiently
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
