The incumbent will be part of a team dedicated to solving information technology (IT) requests for technical support related to hardware and software for the California State Legislature and other support offices. Under general supervision of the Field Services Supervisor, the incumbent will work as a team member responsible for analyzing, configuring, testing, and supporting multiple hardware and software platforms, such as desktop computers, mobile devices, laptops, printers, multi-function copiers (MFCs), in-house applications, and third-party software.
The incumbent will analyze, troubleshoot, document, and resolve complex IT-related requests remotely or on-site; analyze operational data to identify, test, and resolve recurring IT problems; and work collaboratively with peers, other teams, and management.
