Salary: $104,000 - 135,200 per year Requirements:

• We need strong hands-on experience with Alcatel/Nokia 7750 routers.
• We expect advanced knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• We value familiarity with RSVP, LDP, PIM, and data center network architecture.
• We require solid proficiency with Ethernet technologies, including VLANs, STP, LACP, and MC-LAG.
• We need experience using Microsoft Visio for network diagrams and documentation.
• We look for excellent project coordination, communication, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• We prefer candidates who can mentor junior engineers and work effectively across teams.
• Nokia NRS I/II certification is preferred.
• Experience with Metasolv is a plus.
• Skills in core networking, MPLS, IS-IS, BGP, OSPF, and MOP creation are required.

• We provide escalation and troubleshooting support to operations teams.
• We prepare engineering estimates and installation packages.

We are hiring an IP Core Network Engineer to support a leading Alaska-based ISPs carrier-grade IP/MPLS core network. This is a fully remote, contract-to-hire opportunity working typical daytime Alaska business hours, Monday through Friday, based out of Tulsa, OK.
