About the Internship:  

We are seeking a motivated  intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to real-time projects, develop technical and analytical skills, and gain insight into the biotech industry. Interns will have exposure to Neomorph’s mission, values, and collaborative culture.

Internship Project and Responsibilities:

Neomorph is seeking a summer intern to join the Research Operations this summer. This role will support the day-to-day operations of a dynamic research environment, ensuring that laboratory activities run efficiently and without interruption. This role provides hands-on exposure to lab operations, automation support, vendor coordination, and facility development. The intern will work closely with the Research Operations team and scientists while contributing to the design and build-out of facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily laboratory operations, including maintaining lab organization, equipment readiness, and supply coordination
  • Assist scientists with basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and automation systems
  • Coordinate with external vendors for procurement, maintenance, and service requests
  • Track orders and manage inventory of lab supplies and consumables
  • Maintain documentation related to lab operations and vendor interactions
  • Support facility design and build-out efforts at 5810 and 5820 Nancy Ridge Drive
  • Assist with lab setup, equipment installation, and space organization
  • Contribute to process improvements for operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology, Engineering, Operations, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to laboratories or research environments
  • Familiarity with lab equipment or automation systems
  • Experience with inventory or procurement processes
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Adobe
