Responsibilities:

• Layout, assemble and wire electrical components of machines according to Engineering design and report all design and production discrepancies to supervisor.
• Validate program for machine operations.
• Troubleshooting and repair electrical circuits.
• Supports facility housekeeping and Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and procedures through department activities. Use lock-out/tag-out system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• High skill level, thorough and comprehensive knowledge of the process involved in the position. Minimum 2 years experience in electrical. Must be able to use conduit benders, wire strippers, basic hand tools, voltage and AMP meter. Use laptop computer for diagnostic evaluation of machines.
• Read and understand electrical schematics, perform basic math. Literacy is necessary.
• Will be required to regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift up to 70 lbs,
• Will be required to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, reach at/above/below shoulder level, possess manual dexterity and near visual acuity.
• Should be able to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
• Must be willing to wear all approved shop safety equipment and personal protection equipment.
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to commute to the job site
