We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer to join the firm in our Burnsville, MN office to work with multi-disciplinary teams on State, Local Government, and private projects, primarily in the transportation arena.
Our Design Engineers play an essential role in the design and construction of successful, high quality transportation projects that make a difference in people’s daily lives. They assist other Engineers, Project Managers, and Land Surveyors with a variety of tasks on transportation projects. They are valued members of the Stonebrooke team!
Responsibilities may include:
Computer-aided drafting and design (CADD)
Preparation of plans, drawings, and specifications for transportation projects
Inspection on construction sites to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
Conducting site evaluations and surveys
Analyzing data and performing calculations
Collaborating with other professionals

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

Experience in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
Knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Willingness to collaborate in a team environment in the office and field
B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field) with an Engineer in Training (EIT) and a goal to grow with the company and obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the future
