Position Overview

Seeking a seasoned Corporate Pilot and CFI/CFII to operate and instruct in a 2023 Cirrus SR22T. This role includes PIC duties, Private and Instrument instruction, weekly ground school, Bahamas operations, and aircraft oversight.

Ideal for an experienced, career-established aviator — not for time-builders pursuing the airlines. Long-term mentorship mindset required.

Expected Activity

• ~200 flight hours per year
• 25–40 Bahamas trips annually
• 1–2 weekly ground sessions (Bradenton)
• ~10 hours per week average
• 24-hour availability required
• Must reside in Sarasota/Bradenton area

Responsibilities

• Provide flight and ground instruction (Private & Instrument)
• Serve as PIC for training and international flights
• Coordinate customs and paperwork
• Monitor weather and ensure conservative decision-making
• Oversee maintenance and aircraft readiness
• Maintain documentation and certifications

Qualifications

Required:

• Commercial Pilot Certificate
• Current CFI & CFII
• Valid Medical & Passport
• Strong IFR proficiency
• Clean FAA record

Preferred:

• 2,500+ Total Time
• High-performance single-engine experience
• Cirrus experience
• Retired airline or corporate background
