Job Details:

Job Title: Pharmacy Tech

Location: Gold Beach, OR 97444

Shift: Days

Duration: 26 Weeks

Pay Rate: $55/hr - $57/hr

Responsibilities:

Hands-on experience preparing chemotherapy infusions in a hospital or infusion center setting.
The technician will work closely with the pharmacist and oncology team to ensure safe, accurate, and timely preparation of infusion medications.
Prepare chemotherapy and other infusion medications in a hospital/infusion setting.
Perform hazardous drug compounding under pharmacist supervision.
Assist with sterile IV compounding in a cleanroom environment.
Ensure accurate preparation, labeling, and staging of medications for infusion patients.
Maintain compliance with oncology safety standards and protocols.
Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and providers to support infusion workflows.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience.
Infusion Center Experience Required.
Recent hands-on experience preparing chemotherapy infusions in a hospital or infusion center Sterile compounding experience.
Hazardous drug handling and compounding experience.
Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician license OR National certification (CPhT).
