Job Description

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Business Development Manager to expand our footprint across the Eastern Region of the United States, with a strong emphasis on Transatlantic and Transpacific trade lanes (North America ↔ Europe & Asia).

This role is ideal for a sales professional who understands global logistics and thrives on building long-term client relationships while delivering tailored supply chain solutions.

Location:

Eastern Region, United States (Remote/Hybrid with travel required)

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on growing Transatlantic trade lanes (North America ↔ Europe), with exposure to Transpacific markets
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with importers, exporters, and supply chain decision-makers
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Understand client supply chain needs and provide end-to-end logistics solutions (ocean freight, air freight, warehousing, customs brokerage, etc.)
• Collaborate with pricing and operations teams to develop competitive proposals and quotations
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and global trade developments
• Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in B2B sales within logistics or freight forwarding (customs brokerage experience is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of Transatlantic and Transpacific trade lanes and Incoterms
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
• Experience using CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and virtual communication platforms
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in logistics or freight sales (Transatlantic focus strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of customs regulations, import/export processes, and trade compliance
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
