Green Ivy Educational Consulting ( is a social enterprise organization committed to helping every student develop their own road map for success.
We are known internationally for our work on executive functioning skills — organization, planning, prioritization, and adaptable thinking — and our small office currently works with students from 45+ different schools on three continents.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team in a temporary capacity in our Bay Area office starting in late April/early May 2026 through the end of the school year. The work will be primarily direct service with students, with extensive training provided on our approach and methods.
We are a small office located in downtown Los Altos, a few miles from Stanford University. Our work has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, CNBC, Chicago Tribune, ABC News, USA Today, NPR, and others. Our work improves self-confidence, encourages lifelong learning and engagement, and supports overall well-being.
Please note: We work with students in our downtown Los Altos office Monday through Thursday, and are remote on Fridays. Our working hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday noon–9 pm (in office); Thursday 11 am–7 pm (in office); Friday 9 am–6 pm (virtual). This position is part-time and temporary, and on-site, with potential to extend.
Responsibilities:
• Meet with students (15–20 hours per week) working on executive functioning skills and content support
• Offer subject support as needed; strong writing and editing skills required
• Be fluent in relevant subjects across grade levels
• Offer sincere positive reinforcement and encouragement while maintaining high expectations
Necessary Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:
• Previous experience working with and teaching or tutoring middle school and high school students, ideally in an advising or coaching capacity
• Commitment to creating pathways for opportunity and access for all students
• Genuine interest in making a difference
• Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
• Warm, personable, and approachable personality with a solutions-oriented perspective
• Collaborative team player with a sense of humor
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Highly reliable and responsible

• Math or science background helpful
